None of my Driver Assist features work on my brand new 2024 GMC Denali pick up
None of my electronic Driver Assist safety features work on my brand new 2024 GMC Denali pick up. These safety features were a major selling point in my decision to purchase this vehicle. I have brought the vehicle back to the dealer several times to have the problem fixed. Finally, I was told that the replacement module needed is not currently available , and that there is no known date for the part to be delivered. It has been three months since the problem began. How many other car and truck owners are experiencing this issue and what is being done by GMC to resolve this problem ?

I have also purchased a slightly used 2022 GMC Denali Ultimate Pick up and have the same problem you are going through. The major selling point to me was the Super Cruise feature along with the navigation system. The Super Cruise option was a 5,000 dollar upgrade on the used car market. There are plenty of non Super Cruise models but if I am spending the money you might as well have everything in the truck. I was told by one of the largest GM dealerships in my state, that the On Star modular is on back order and good luck getting one in the next 12 months. Shawn Fain is in charge of the UAW, well my question to him. You might want to get with GM and figure out a fix to this ongoing nightmare or there are going to be a lot less GM customers wanting to buy GM products next time you go on strike in 2028. To Mary Barra the head of GM, you also might want to take note. Your top tier customers buying your elite vehicle's are extremely unhappy with this ongoing crisis's. When your customers have the option to buy anything they want north of 65k dollars and you are making them wait months on end for a part. Chances are they are not going to come back to buy the same problem. Why buy GM when your upper customer base has a choice to buy a great product elsewhere for the same money or just a little more. To Mary and Shawn I hope you do the right thing and make your customers happy and fix the problem. Remember this is lost monthly and yearly revenue you are losing everyday with On Star not working. Not to mention high dollar customers giving up and leaving to buy better vehicles from Europe or Japan.

Onstar module and several other problems with my new 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Carbon Pro, some are the same as yours. Has been in service multiple times. Let's also talk about the 1 1/2 month wait to get it into service because of the wait for a loaner vehicle. I purchased mine for all of these features and to not have to have it in service any time soon. Very frustrating and disappointed that I am paying for a truck and part of what I am paying for doesn't work and there is no solution from GMC.

I have a New 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Ultimate Denail and also am getting the Service Driver Assist System. I have taken it in twice now and they say they don't know what to do. WTH! You pay a TON of money for a vehicle to use Supercruise or to use blindspot monitoring and they don't work? I still had to pay for them, you won't fix them? Then give me my money back!!!!!

I have a 2023 GMC Acadia Denali and the adaptive cruise control does not work (It works sometimes under 40 MPH), the lane departure does not work, and it brakes abruptly to the point I almost caused an accident. I brought it in to the dealer and it was there for a week and I was told it was fixed. They reset all the software. That didn't work. Brought it back again and it sat there for 2 weeks. They claim a module, they text with GM techs and it takes days to get answers, still nothing. They had my vehicle for almost 3 weeks and I was finally told its a known issue and they will eventually issue a recall on it? It cost me a fortune with UBER back and forth to the dealer and having to rent a vehicle. I have never in my life owned anything but a GM vehicle (going bac to my fathers Oldsmobile), and between this one and my 2018 Chevy impala (Only 30K miles) that I had to replace air-condition systems 2 times because I was days off the warranty both times I am not sure I should remain a GM customer. How can this be that this cannot be fixed? This is why I hear people say but German or Japanese. Saddens me so!

I have a 2024 gmc sierra 2500 hd, had an issue where I couldn’t shut it off accessories mode, this caused the batteries to completely drain. Since this both my lane departure and front crash sensor do not work. Dealer says it’s because the truck is lifted, even though it’s worked great with the lift for 2 months prior to this incident. Crazy part ever is if I spray windex/water on the front camera and side mirrors and wipe them, then start the truck all sensors work fine for that ignition cycle until I turn it off. GM doesn’t know what to do and refuses to do anything because it’s lifted even though clearly it’s not because of the lift, not trying to spray my cameras every time I go to drive!

@Lvalquier
Definitely not because of the lift. I have a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Carbon Pro 4x4 and have the same issues and many more. More then have of the reasons I purchased this truck do not work or work when they want. Has been in the shop multiple times. Sensors, cameras, assistance, you name it. Biggest issue being the Onstar module going out shortly after purchase. My cameras will work when they want? Or halfway work, showing black on part of the screen. Lane departure was an issue at one point. The cameras and lane departure were the beginning of everything going down hill. It went into service, and shortly after is when the Onstar module went out. This is only a few weeks after purchasing the vehicle.
