Onstar Premium Plan Stopped Prematurely
As part of my Cadillac XT4 purchase, I was enrolled in the Onstar Premium Plan with unlimited data with an expiry of September 6, 2027. Based on this information provided by GM, I operated the system without concern for data usage.
However, in the fall of 2026 the Premium Plan service stopped. A GM customer service agent informed me "the standalone Wi-Fi service was automatically cancelled due to launching of new product catalog". The agent further informed me the only way to address the issue is by calling Onstar sales. There is no other communication method available. Unfortunately I am deaf.
Can someone at GM please restore the Onstar Premium Plan with an extension of the plan beyond September 6, 2027 by 5 months to address the fact I have been without the service for approximately that duration of time. Note that the issue was brought forward during the last two servicings of the vehicle at the dealership and they could not help. In fact, during my last servicing, they called Onstar on my behalf without resolution.
