New plans offer less...
Got my renewal and was surprised to learn I could no longer group together plans to get the features I want. I consider the Crash/Stolen vehicle coverage "Required" while also enjoying (but not needing) the remote options for my vehicle.
Up until this renewal I have always been able to get the minimum plan with remote AND the protection by doing my own "bundle" and paying for it. Cannot do that now, choices are remote control OR protection or paying for all of that PLUS a host of unnecessary features in the premium plan.
Prior years I was paying for two plans I combined to get the features I want. Now you are forcing me to get the premium plan OR remote OR protection. You can't combine two lower plans for the features you want.
Now I have just the protect plan and a reduced bill :)

This is my same issue now ,.,,,, going from 250 ish to 600 a year for FORCED features that are unwanted.

We know how frustrating unexpected plan changes can be. It sounds like you're most interested in the remote commands feature and the safety features. While those plans can come bundled, they do come in standalone plans as well. The remote commands feature is included in the OnStar Connect Plan and the safety features are included in the OnStar Protect Plan. They also come bundled together in the OnStar One Plan.
