Bait and Switch Pricing Practices

Hey OnStar,

I was about to renew my connect plan.  Here is what I see;

I called and also used the chat options from the website.  Both let me know this was not correct, yet here it is.  It says, "Upgrade to OnStar Connect plan that includes everything in your Remote Access plan and more" for $99.  Well this misleading Details link says that it will be $149.  How is this not bait and switch. 

Fix the pricing to $99 for all us Remote Access plan users or publish a promo code for this price that you are advertising here.  Sick and tired of misleading GM and OnStar sales practices.  Would you like another class action lawsuit to clean this up?

    I quite happy with my choice of not supporting OnStar and will not reach out and will not fall for another round of "...our team to look into your account for any available offers, feel free to send us a private message..."

    OnStar has encouraged me to look beyond GM and consider not buying another Chevrolet.

    Hey Sara,

    See above for your pricing practices.  Let me know when you will renew my plan at $99 a year by public message to help the other users that have Remote Access and would like to continue. Until then, stop these illegal sales practices.  I'm not interested in another slimy sales engagement.

    To the other members that their plans have ended.  I have not renewed and will not support OnStar again until they honor the price that they advertised.  Apple AirTags are less than $20 a piece to get location.  This was the main feature that I used OnStar for.  If its emergency services you get OnStar for and have an Apple iPhone 14 or later, you phone has better automatic crash detection and has better emergency services connectivity than the 4G GSM module that OnStar uses to connect with.   If you are interested in battery status and you are not in the car, text the friend or family member in the car for that. 

    We need to stick together and not renew OnStar for this to improve.  Vote with your wallets.
