Weather app

Please bring back the weather app

The Weather Channel has decided not to renew it’s contract with GM regarding the application developed for GM vehicles. There is no plan in place to bring back The Weather Channel, but GM always looks to provide unique experiences. Another weather option may be considered at a future point.

    So it was Weather Channel’s decision? Wonder why. I hope GM can quickly design or contract out a similar version from AccuWeather or someone similar.

      Load the “MyRadar” app on your phone and it shows up in CarPlay.  You can observe the live radar there.

    I wonder why TWC decided not to renew the contract. Could it possibly be that GM was charging so much that it wasn't cost effective for them? 

    People don't just "decide" to not renew a contract. Something about the contract is untenable, and the other party is not willing to negotiate in good faith.

So it was Weather Channel’s decision? Wonder why. I hope GM can quickly design or contract out a similar version from AccuWeather or someone similar.

I wonder why TWC decided not to renew the contract. Could it possibly be that GM was charging so much that it wasn't cost effective for them? 

People don't just \"decide\" to not renew a contract. Something about the contract is untenable, and the other party is not willing to negotiate in good faith.
