VIU - OnStar System Error code

I just purchased a 2024 Colorado on July 8 2024 and have the exact same problem. At 400 miles a notification saying “service emergency calling” appeared and the ONSTAR button went red. I’ve tried talking to OnStar three times and they insist it’s a check engine light and that I need to call the dealership. I checked with the dealership first before calling ONSTAR and cannot get them to understand that it is NOT the check engine light even though they keep insisting it is. I confirmed its an ONSTAR issue and called OnStar, but after speaking with three different people and sitting on hold for 12 minutes I gave up. Terrible service.
