25 Lyriq - Digital Key
I have a 2025 Lyriq that support the UWB key card. Is there a way to get added to the Apple Car Key/ Digital Key program? Happy to beta test and provide feedback.
We love the enthusiasm for the Digital Key feature. Currently, the initial release and testing phase are limited to a select group of MY26 Cadillac LYRIQ and OPTIQ owners who meet specific eligibility requirements. While we aren't able to add MY25 vehicles to the program at this time, keep an eye on your email for future updates and official launch announcements.

I'm in the same position with my 2025 Lyriq Lux 3. Seams crazy that it's taken Cadillac this long to release this feature that other manufactures like Tesla and Rivian have had for years. Makes one think twice about next EV car purchase if it takes this long for Cadillac to release updates like this.

Cadillac is doing a great job of updating our vehicles by OTA. I had a 2021 VW ID.4 for 4 years, maybe 4 OTA updates during that time and when I traded it in, I still couldn't lock or unlock my vehicle doors remotely.
I concur that Cadillac is effectively updating our vehicles through Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. However, if you’re comparing Cadillac’s OTA capabilities, it’s more relevant to compare them with the best in the industry rather than the worst. Tesla’s OTA updates are a clear example of superior technology, and Cadillac’s offerings fall short in comparison. We have been hearing about Digital Key coming for a long time and it finally materialized on some cars and in beta programs. Just waiting for Cadillac to roll it out to everyone. In the meantime, my only ask was to be included in the beta program knowing that the software may not be perfect.
