OnStar Not working - 2025 Chevy Equinox EV

I received my pre owned Equinox EV 2025 on Friday, March 20th. I was excited about the vehicle until I attempted to navigate and the vehicle would not pinpoint my location. I attempted to use the OnStar call button as it was green. This did not work. I call OnStar on my cell phone and I was told the vehicle was still registered under the previous owner. She updated the information and we conducted a reset where I turn the vehicle off exit it and Locked it. She indicated it would be about 2 mins to sending a signal. unfortunately this did not work as it did not work still despite the green indicator on the OnStar button and I still have no navigation capabilities. I need direction as I have 7 days in which I can return the vehicle. I am disappointed as I have been. following and reading about the EV's built by GM for some time now. I know nothing is perfect however the expectation is a basic function of navigation and pinpointing would be working. Please advise
