On-Star Telmetric Module Failed

I bought my 2023 Chevy Tahoe brand new in 2022. On-star Module Failed a week ago. Dealership said my extended warranty did not cover it. Part is back-ordered with no ETA. They made me pay for the part before they'd even order it. From what I've read this is a widespread problem that chevy and on-star have known about. I very angry because the whole reason I bought this car was for the entertainment package that no longer works. From also what I've read it could be months before it comes in if it comes in at all. Something needs to be done.

    It cost me and probably others tens of thousands of dollars to learn the lesson. I thought I was just buying a Chevy and that OnStar was a feature for old people to use if they wanted to pay extra. I didn't realize what I was getting myself into. I didn't realize that the module is a flimsy piece of garbage that can drain your battery when it malfunctions but that the automobile won't work without it. I didn't realize that I was forced into a subscription I never wanted. I got scammed. Never again, GM. I am wiser now.
