Backordered Onstar Module
Update! They provided me with a phone number to call. The lady was very nice and said she wanted me to be heard, which I appreciated, but there is no fix. She even explained how this happened to her own car, and she had to wait 60 days for the part. GM seems not to care about the public or their own hard-working employees. I was encouraged to call the parts department instead of the service department at my dealership. They said the part is still on backorder and there is nothing they can do. The vicious, never-ending cycle that is General Motors. I am really kicking myself for not being the Ford Mach-E. The Equinox EV was cheaper, and now I know why. Anyway... if anyone is researching cars and is on the fence about whether to buy a GM, save yourself the heartache and buy literally anything else! Let me and this entire thread of unhappy customers be your cautionary tale.
I will update this thread if and when my car gets fixed. So if you don't hear from me, just look at the date and know my car still isn't fixed if you don't see a reply from me.
