2024 Cadillac XT4 - No Wifi - No conenctivity - tablet stays on when car is shut off

2024 Cadillac XT4 Infotainment System Issues

I'm experiencing connectivity problems with my 2024 Cadillac XT4's infotainment system. OnStar, the MyCadillac app, and other connectivity services are not functioning properly.

Main Issues:

  • OnStar and MyCadillac app connectivity completely down
  • When I turn off the car and open the door, the infotainment screen sometimes remains powered on (though it stays responsive)
  • To resolve the screen issue only, I have to restart the car, reset the infotainment system, then shut everything off again. However this does not fix any of the connection problems, and I have to do it every power cycle. 
  • WiFi has worked only intermittently in the past, but now it doesn't work at all. 

Troubleshooting Done:

  • Called OnStar support, but they couldn't establish a connection and had to escalate the issue
  • Dealer performed a module update approximately 6 months ago (by the way they also put a hole in my leather seat and scratched up the bottom part of the steering wheel)

 Has anyone else experienced similar connectivity issues with their XT4? Any suggestions for troubleshooting steps or potential solutions would be appreciated. OnStar and GM are not responding despite multiple calls and I'm nervous about taking it to the dealership since it came back from them with more damage than it went in.
