MyChevrolet App Vehicle Status/Info Not Updating
Ummm... As an old fart who has had cars long before this technology took over, I am happy to educate you about how we did it before the app did it for you. Under the hood, in the oil fill spout, there is a dipstick. Pull it out, wipe it off, and reinsert it. Then pull it back out and look at the tip. There is a gauge that will tell you the oil level. For tire pressure, Autozone sells old school tire gauges that you can use to manually check the pressure in your tires. There is no safety issue if the app isn't working. You just have to stop being a helpless technology-dependant millennial and realize that there are ways to do things manually that worked for a very, very long time. The level of learned-helplessness among people today is astounding. Thank God I grew-up with Gen X and not today. Good luck!
First of all, @twitch0331 there is no need for your rude a$$ comment. You have no idea what MY GENERATION is. So don’t be an a$$ and a$$-u-me. If you have nothing positive to say, with a considerate tone, SAY NOTHING.
Thank you.

Exactly if I pay for a nice vehicle and I paid for that OnStar package as well. Everything should work properly whether I want to check everything myself or not. I work out out of town a lot of times so I checked my status of my vehicle often to make sure everything‘s OK on it while I’m gone.

We'd be glad to take a closer look at the vehicle status concern you're experiencing in the app @MHansard. Please send us a private message to OnStar_Support using the envelope icon at the top right of your screen, and we'll help from there.
