EV features removed from app
It appears a new version of the myChevrolet app for iOS, v7.7.0, was submitted by GM almost three days ago and was only just published by Apple sometime between 11:00 and 16:00 EDT on 5/1/25. Has anyone tried this new version to see if the issue is fixed?
The version notes in the Apple App store are the standard, sub-standard notes that offer nothing of value. I’m reluctant to try it lest I lose even the remaining vestigial ability to get to the Volt EV charging info through pop-up notices.

It looks like v7.9.0 for iOS was released circa 6/3/2025 in the Apple App store. I just installed it and can confirm the problem is still NOT fixed. While battery charge level is displayed with a small icon on the main screen, the vehicle status screen still only displays fuel and oil, and there are no options available for configuring charging options.
Since the phone call I received from OnStar indicated the problem was scheduled to be fixed by the software developers by the end of May, I will contact them with my case number and see if there is any updated information available.

Awesome, very much appreciate others calling in about this. I've spent some time making the case about this also. I also recommend calling OnStar and requesting a refund for each month of service that doesn't include the EV Charge Status and control features we benefit from.
