I have exactly the same issue on my 2024 Silverado 1500 RST it worked then went away, then came back for a short period of time. My vehicle was just a few months old when the remote climate control was taken away.

Good luck getting anywhere with OnStar. They will give you the run around. Bounce you back and forth between different support levels, tell you that a vehicle upgrade will fix it, have you remove the app and reinstall it a few times and then punt the issue to GM. GM will punt it back to OnStar. They don't care to solve it or be honest about why it worked and now it doesn not. They won't answer the case in the chat and will simply email you separately with the run around. Trust me my car is now over 2 years old and I still don't have this working. Despite reinstalling that app, I have switched phones once already, and my vehicle has had at least 3 updatws. Like I said before SHAMEFUL on both companies.

We value your openness in sharing your experience and regret to hear this sentiment. As mentioned, the Generation 11 hardware installed in your Silverado does not support this feature at this time. Our team understands that this is not what you were hoping to hear and we sympathize with any frustration caused.

Sam- can you explain why it did work and now it doesn’t. The response that it doesn’t support it when we all know it worked doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. We are frustrated because we bought something for you guys then to take it away. Simply put it was a baiting switch.
