Any plans for seniors on SSDI that don’t drive much?

My husband and I need help. He has major health issues - he was  blessed with a double lung transplant 3 years ago and is currently undergoing treatment for laryngeal cancer. He also has CKD and will be needing dialysis or a kidney transplant soon. My Essentials Plan will be up next month and although I love it and we truly need it (especially the navigation with all our medical appointments), I’m just not sure I can afford it given our mounting medical bills. Are there any assistance programs for seniors on SSDI who don’t drive all that much (I average 3K miles or less a year)?
