2025 GMC Acadia OnStar Module
I purchased a 2025 GMC Acadia recently. One of the main reasons for purchasing was the Super Cruise feature. After signing all the paperwork, we tried to setup Onstar and found it not working. The dealership tried to troubleshoot but wasn't able to repair. I live 2 hrs away from the dealer and had to leave. When I got home I set up an appt at my local dealer, only for them to tell me the part is on national backorder and didn't even look at the car. I made another appt for April 14th but I'm starting to lose hope in this situation. Is there anyone who can help expedite this? No one should ever be able to purchase a new or slight used vehicle that isn't ready to go to work. The delaer who sold me the car told me all about their 182 point inspection, only to find out they missed the onstar not working.Bad service for 3 months
I use onstage everyday being that im a part of a Crisis team at work. Onstage has made me go to wrong homes, longer routes, and when I spoke to advisors directly, the call would drop or just hang up without sending directions! I feel like it would only be fair to be compensated for three months considering just how much trouble Onstar was for me!HORRIBLE
2025 Chevy Equinox taken to two different dealerships regarding Onstar not working. After getting the run around, found out that the telematics module failed. My truck has been at the dealership since March 7, and was told last week that the part is still on back order. The dealership has no loaner vehicles so this has definitely been a horrible experience. At this point, something needs to be done! My $100,000 gmc Yukon Denali onstar and WiFi works about 1/4 of the time. This has been happening for 3 months the dealer said it’s a bad telematics control mogul and it will cost over $1,000 to fix, and it’s back ordered Of course my warranty expired. I would like Onstar’s to credit my account the last three months and until the new modular is installed. Also since it is such a frequent problem GM recall and fix the modular at no cost!!!Blank map
We have a 2024 chevy suburban and did the free trial of the wifi. That expired and our map on the infotainment screen would still show basic GPS and location we just couldn't use the Google services like directions without a data plan. It was that way for months and then all of a sudden our map just went blank on the infotainment. We have tried resetting and checking for updates. Our dealer told us everything looked good and we couldn't use it without a paid data plan. Is this really the case. It doesn't make sense why it worked as basic GPS and is just now blank. Any help?Wifi "connected without Internet" No data plan wanted. I just want to connect to Android Auto.
I have a 2026 GMC 2500 AT4. After the trial ended for data the truck started having problems connecting to Android Auto. I have no need for a data plan so therefore I didn't sign up for any OnStar services. When I crank the truck the My GMC wifi connects but it says connected without Internet and nothing works on .my phone. It's like the wifi with no internet overrides my cellular data. The only solution is to pull over, put it in park, and hold microphone button down for 20 seconds to do a soft reset of the infotainment system. It will usually connect correctly for the rest of the day. Then the next day it does the same thing over again. It is beyond frustrating to start your vehicle and have to reset the infotainment system every single day. I have taken to service department 3 times already. They have removed negative battery cable 3 different times now. I have re added my phone wifi and Bluetooth connection several times. I got a new android phone and it still does the same thing. I have also made sure the Sharing Vehicle to Phone data is toggled off. No one seems to have a solution other than sign up for the data plan to make it work. But it clearly says in the manual that a data plan is not required. Is it the OnStar Module that is the issue?Vehicle account not syncing to new vehicle
Hi all I had a 2025 Chevrolet suburban. I just upgraded to a 2026 Escalade. My understanding was the vehicle account stored certain settings in the cloud. when I log in to the infotainment on my Escalade none of my settings migrated over. What am I doing wrong? Using the correct account credentials. From what I’ve read online it’s supposed to move over radio presets etc.
