Need assistance
I’m a new Chevy Malibu owner and basically don’t knew much about it so I try to get my onstar step up but it ain’t working and I don’t know why it saying that it’s not connected to onstar

The same thing happened a few months ago on my 2023 Yukon. There is no warranty coverage. The dealer did the recall reprogramming, and a week later, both the Onstar and TCM were defective; it ended up costing $1846 TO MAKE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT RESET. Labor was the most significant part $1100, $220/hr. Onstar has never offered to extend my service for the time I could not use the service due to the parts shortage. I didn't even get the canned response given to you. Four months later, a fuel injector went bad (not covered past 36,000mi because it's not part of the powertrain), which came to $1700, of which labor was $1474. I'm done with GM
