2024 Lyriq Onstar Diagnostic Code B19DA

1500 miles on my New Vehicle and there is this obnoxious chime and alert displayed on my screen. "Service Emergency Calling" I pull over and turn the car on/off 7 times. Find a charger, and charge it. Still doesn't go away. Called OnStar, and received instructions to park it. It's too late in the evening for technical support. Thank God I made it home, and was only 10 minutes from the house and my family wasn't in the car with me. We'd be disabled if we were on a road trip somewhere. In the AM, I received this email and report from OnStar. Took it in to the dealership. The dealership turned me away because they already had 15 Lyriqs in the shop. Alledgedly, this Cadillac Dealership has a requirement to service their vehicles in 5 days, and if they took my vehicle in, they would not meet their internal metric. Waited 30 min in the lobby with the service reps avoiding me like I had the plague. When they finally got to me, they said, "here is my phone number, call me on Monday. We might be able to help you then." Never have I ever been turned away from a dealership to service my car, especially for safety features. Didn't even have a chance to explain the black screen. Ended up going to another dealership, and they advised me that their loaner Lyriqs and other Lyriqs are in queue for service on similar issues, related to the back screen and powertrain error messages as well as OnStar issues. To top it off, I can not charge at home because the electrical panel needs an upgrade. The OnStar app to find a charging station doesn't work either, such an insult to injury. A 6K dollar electrical upgrade is out of our budget.. My landlord is not willing to pay for the upgrade, and doesn't have to. Now, I can't charge my car at home, and my car is in for service. The dealership said they can't take it back or exchange the lease, unless they re-purchase it for 21K less then what I owe. I respectfully asked Cadillac to take their vehicle back.. with no success. It simply isn't reliable enough for us, and charging it is a huge inconvenience. As of right now, Cadillac will not take back their vehicle. OnStar was one of the main reasons aside from the zero emissions, but we are at a loss with the entire ownership, service, and support from all the dealerships selling these cars. We really wish Cadillac would just take the defective vehicle back considering we've only made 1 payment on the vehicle. Be advised, complete your due diligence before you execute the national ad promotion on these vehicles. We understand now why they are on this promotion.
