Why didn't my alarm go off?
I have a 2016 Camaro SS, and we got hit with a major storm last night. A branch must have weighed 1000 lbs. broke off and landed on the roof and smashed the rear window. It took 3 guys to lift it off. We didn't get a phone alert, and the alarm didn't go off. We pay for theft protection. If someone just shakes the car to try to get in, or a door is ajar, we have been alerted in the past. How can we tell if the alarm system is really hooked up and working? The dealer recently installed a new engine, do you think that they may have shut off the sensors, and forgot to turn them back on?
