We do understand your position. Please know, The Weather Channel has decided not to renew its contract with GM regarding the application developed specifically for GM vehicles. While there is no current plan to bring back The Weather Channel, we are committed to providing our Members with valuable services and experiences. I had to look for this info because it (TWC) disappeared without notice. I used this feature constantly and I don't see why a commercial tie-in is necessary. I've seen weather integrated in infotainment systems going back to 2009 and had several vehicles with "unbranded" solutions come directly from the OEM. Having the weather radar and extended forecast information is very important to me. This information is readily available, and APIs exist for things like the National Weather Service and Meteomatic. This is one reason I pay for my OnStar data plan and without notice it's now just gone. Let's get rolling on a replacement, eh?!
