Look, I don't want to get some damn call from an idiot at GM passing the buck off again. You don't need my information to contact the mapping company and see what's going on with the maps. That's your next step. You don't need me to fully explain in an email everything I've already explained here.
My car does not need an update
My account does not need an update
YOUR SYSTEM NEEDS AN UPDATE.
YOUR SYSTEM IS GIVING MINE THE WRONG INFORMATION.
Have you even attempted to find out who updates the road information? Or are you all just trying to get someone else to do it?

There are several places on my commute where Supercruise cuts out and now there is a long stretch of road where it cuts out where it worked fine before. After reading this exchange, I learned that your car is always the culprit and GM will never admit they could be wrong and apparently won’t attempt to proactivley fix what we know is wrong. Thanks GM! So helpful!

The feedback and safety of our members are both things we take seriously, @Habnar. Super Cruise can only be engaged on compatible roads where lanes are separated from opposing traffic — think a divided, limited-access highway, not a suburban street. There are currently more than 585,000 miles of Super Cruise–enabled roads in the U.S. and Canada. Super Cruise is designed to maintain the current lane, but you should always pay attention in case you need to take control to avoid emergency situations, exit the highway, make a turn, stop for a traffic control device or perform any other driving maneuver. Super Cruise capabilities are also always evolving to better assist drivers. Explore the map of Super Cruise–enabled roads to find ones on the way to your next destination and stay informed on the latest updates at: https://www.onstar.com/services/super-cruise-hands-free-driving. If you have concerns and believe your Super Cruise is not functioning properly, we encourage you to bring this to the attention of your local dealership for diagnosis. Their technicians are trained and certified to service GM vehicles, placing them in the best position to determine any steps that may be available toward a remedy. Our team is always here if we can offer you any other support or assistance. don't hesitate to send a private message to OnStar_Support to begin. You only need to select the envelope icon at the top right of your screen to draft your message.

Blah blah blah. This entire response is nothing but bs. My map was checked, everything was fine, just someone say OnStar hadn't done their job yet.
My problem was fixed after repeatedly hitting the OnStar button and being a horrible person to the people who answer, posting here, even leaving my OnStar connected and on hold for over 9 hours. I never once had to bring my vehicle in. My vehicle never needed an update. All the answers I ever got from OnStar were lies.
But it'll always be that way. OnStar doesn't care enough as long as they get their money.

None of this answers my concern and it is frustrating to say the least. My super cruise works fine, lately on hwy 4 in Pittsburg CA it stopped working for several miles. It still works everywhere else. That tells me there is nothing wrong with the car, your system is dropping off in that area. When it cuts out I get a “no road information” I have been using supercruise there for three years now! Don’t tell me there is no road information! It’s especially frustrating because GM expects me to start paying for super cruise soon and it doesn’t work where it used to supposed to work!

Speaking for him
These are not dealership problems. There is nothing wrong with our vehicles. No update to our vehicles needs to occur. Do not make us waste hours of our days at dealerships when it is your problem.
This is ENTIRELY OnStar. Someone there, or a company you pay, updates road information and construction. That person or company needs to be fired.
My problem was not solved by taking my vehicle in. Someone finally got off their ass and pushed the road information through.
Again, dealers cannot help in any way, other than to call OnStar. But you people are not properly trained and just do whatever you can to get us off the line.
