On Star display redundantly takes over my Driver Information Center (DIC).

We dont know what makes the Onstar  Turn By Turn display that usually in on the larger Entertainment Center display  to then also be displayed on my DIC display. The info  I have setup to be displayed in the DIC is very important. Nothing we have tried permits us to close the Onstar data...only thing that works is for the vehicle to be shut off for a few minuets

The Orstar data is still active on the larger Entertainment Center display    so that is OK..but  I cant have my DIC display displaying only On Star data redundantly
