Thank you for connecting with us here to share your feedback and experiences with Super Cruise, @Cmondale1. Allow us to share some important details with you worth noting. Super Cruise allows for manual, automatic and/or turn signal activated lane changes. Automatic and turn signal activated lane changes are only available in Super Cruise hands-free functionality. Here’s how to use it:
Automatic Lane Changes: System Initiated
-To pass slower vehicles
-Merging out of lanes that are ending
-Provide space for vehicles merging on entrance ramp
-Follow your route when the destination is programed in built-in Google maps. (MY26+ only)
-Gets driver as close as possible to their route (ex: On a highway, will change lanes to get as close to your exit as possible, but will not take the exit for you)-To cancel an automatic lane change, use the turn signal lever or steer manually
Lane Change on Demand: Driver Initiated
-Ensure the adjacent lane is clear
-Activate the turn signal in the direction you wish to move
-The system will steer the vehicle to perform the lane change
-To cancel, return the turn signal lever to neutral or steer manually
Settings wise, drivers may find customization options in the infotainment system under Settings>Super Cruise Lane ChangeIf you review this information and you have any outstanding questions or concerns, we encourage you to bring them to your preferred local dealership for evaluation.
