Yes, the OnStar Basics Plan does come with remote start if your vehicle is capable. For us to ensure that your vehicle is compatible with remote start, we kindly ask that you send us a private message to OnStar_Support. Just select the envelope icon at the top right of your screen to get started. Please include your contact information (name, email address, and phone number), VIN, and OnStar account number. By sending us a message, you consent to the information you provide being monitored and recorded by GM or those acting on GM’s behalf, subject to the GM Privacy Statement.

To send us a private message, please take the following steps:
Locate the Envelope Icon: Look at the top right-hand corner of your screen for the envelope icon (Direct Messages).Compose a New Message: Click the envelope icon and select New Message (or the pencil/compose icon).
Enter the Recipient: In the Send to field, type OnStar_Support.
Add Details and Send: Enter a subject line, type your information in the body box, and click Send.
