OnStar Module failed end October - 2025 Equinox EV LT2
Add me to the list of unsatisfied customer of an Equinox EV LT2 due to a faulty On Star Module. I had my car for two days before it was defected and now its been at the dealership for 4 weeks now waiting for a replacement on a part that has no ETA. I will be filing a Lemon Law claim on the car this coming up week now looking for an entirely different EV car due to negligence of OnStar with their faulty equipment that they fail to take responsibility on.
I’ll tell you what happened with mine, after 8 weeks, and talking with the GM customer support about the issue, I was told it was going to be another 4-6 weeks unfortunately so I filed a CAMVAP application, and within days I swear they overnighted it to the dealer because the part showed up. I withdrew the application obviously, it was finally repaired.
The dealership has since been really good with me, I’ve had a couple other issues come up, one being fixed on Monday. The technician has never actually performed the repair before, small town dealer, so they asked me for a full day to repair it. They want to make sure it’s done right.
Maybe your part will miraculously show up in a few days as well.
