OnStar Module failed end October - 2025 Equinox EV LT2
Add me to the growing list of frustrated Chevy Equinox EV owners with a failed telematics control module. Recently bought a used 2025 LT from a dealer and didn’t realize something haywire with the GPS until taking possession of it. The maps app would not work and displayed a location in Southern California (I’m in Oregon). Local dealership diagnosed it as the TCM failure being the culprit. Was told yesterday there are over 2000 on backorder ahead of me so no idea when mine will be replaced. Debating between keeping it or trading it back in. We do like it a lot but the uncertainty of it being repaired anytime soon is extremely discouraging.
