OnStar Module failed end October - 2025 Equinox EV LT2
Dealing with the vey similar issue here, 2025 Equinox EV RS purchased in May. I put just under 12,000 miles on it and in late October the telematics module failed. Brought into dealership service center on November 10th and was told it needed replacement and the module was backordered. I called back to check a couple weeks ago and they basically said "no ETA don't call us, well call you". Incredibly frustrating as I have a long commute each day and like to rely on the nav system to have an idea about traffic and my range etc. I feel naive for thinking that I wouldn't have an issue with my first ever brand new car and frankly am really bitter about the whole experience. I don't have any words of help here but completely sympathize with your experience. It just sucks.
I have a 25 Chevy Equinox and I cannot even get the dealership to diagnose due to My Chevy setting an incorrect appointment for point inspection after Onstar tried to fix issue and stated there is no communication with car. I have green onstar light no internet connection no access to Maps or other features. I keep getting different error messages like lane change indicator not available. My collison warning system isn't working properly nor is my auto high beam. . I honestly want to give them this car back. I have had it in to assess transmission not shifting appropriately and was told well no code showed when scanned and we couldnt duplicate it. But miraciously hasnt happened since. I did not buy my first new vehicle to have all these issues. I also get vibration in seat and warning indicators driving in the middle of nowhere without any obstructions. What is the lemon law limitations? I did not buy A BRAND NEW CAR to have so many issues.

I also bought a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV RS
as my first brand new car purchase and it has been giving me issues since I got it, I have said the same thing almost every week that I should not be having any issues at all with a brand new car, I finally had time to take it to the dealer and they have had it for a week already and haven’t even given me an update on the status yet f my vehicle all they told me was I need an onstar module.
the issues have been having is no Wi-Fi, can’t use any of my apps due to no connection, the volume gets stuck and I’m unable to turn it up or downthe car does phantom braking by itself which is extremely dangerous (glad I was driving slow while leaving the block) the vehicle just shut off on me with no warning signs, trouble with charging it at charging points almost left me stranded 3hrs away from home, a/c & heater work when they want to, along with other issues. I’ve also noticed that a full charge doesn’t last long at all everything seems to be significantly draining the battery.
any update on lemon laws?
