Concern Regarding the Removal of the Weather Channel App

I am reaching out to express my disappointment over the recent removal of the Weather Channel app from the OnStar services in my GMC truck. This app has been an invaluable resource, offering dependable, real-time weather updates that are crucial for ensuring my travel safety and effective trip planning.  As a loyal GMC and OnStar customer, I have come to greatly appreciate the convenience and practicality this feature provided. Its removal has unfortunately had a negative impact on my overall driving experience.  I kindly urge you to reconsider this decision or to introduce an alternative solution that delivers the same level of reliability and accessibility.

it really don’t have to bring the weather channel app back I think it was Kinda boring looking I did not care for it but I think onstar should either go with  another company like inrix weather or like the SiriusXM travel link where it shows weather on you nav screen like weather radar weather alerts and 5 day forecast paid subscription of course so like we can get weather and there live traffic with a package deal ?

GMC needs to provide a weather application. They still tout having the ability to check the weather through the Informatic Screen. I used to be able to click on the temperature and it would bring up the Weather Channel App, not when I click on the temperature, it brings up the SD Card.

I completely agree, when driving and across states the in car notification of incoming or upcoming weather in the interface of vehicle is amazing. The phone doesn't always pick it up. Why they canceled these contracts is beyond me. That’s one thing I could completely rely on as a busy traveling mom.  Please renew those so we can travel safely and without having to have paid subscriptions on our phones that run through the car that don't work nor send alerts.
