2026 Tahoe Premier Infotainment Suddenly Lost All Apps – No OnStar, Wi-Fi, or Google Services
Hi everyone,
I have a 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe Premier, and recently my infotainment system suddenly changed to a very basic screen. Almost all apps disappeared without warning.
Current issues:
• No apps available (Maps, Google apps, Play Store, etc.)
• OnStar is not showing at all
• No Wi-Fi or network connectivity option in Settings
• Screen only shows basic functions like radio and limited settings
• System feels completely offline or like connected services stopped working
What confuses me is that my Tahoe Premier does not have an OnStar button, so I’m unsure whether this is normal for some models or if something is wrong with the system.
I already tried restarting the vehicle, but the issue is still there.
Questions:
• Has anyone else experienced this on a 2026 Tahoe Premier?
• Is this a software/system issue or connected services problem?
• Did a dealership software update or reprogramming fix it?
• Is there any way to restore the apps and internet connectivity?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
