I am having the exact same problem, one week old 2025 Yukon ultimate Denali. navigation, Google maps, supercruise were working fine until yesterday. I’ve been on the phone with Onstar a total of five times, continue to be told that I will be receiving a call back has not happened yet. Supposedly there is communication to my vehicle however, my iPhone when connected to the Wi-Fi in truck will not allow me to use the web browser, which leads me to believe there is no Internet connection in the vehicle, hoping this is not a hardware issue or an antenna issue that needs to be replaced on a brand new $100k+ vehicle.
not sure which is worse the disappointing hardware or software in this expensive vehicle or the dealers response which was “sorry to hear”- Badge2227 months agoNew Contributor
I really think it is some kind of issue on OnStar's end, but I am on my third case #. (It worked fine during the trial period.) I have been on and off the phone with OnStar for over two weeks. The WiFi Tech keeps telling me that when they try to activate the WiFi Hotspot on their end it gets rejected by my car. They keep giving me Case numbers and telling me I have to wait for their "Level 2" team to contact me. When if first started I received one email from their "Level 2" team telling me they did some background updates and it should work. Well it did not change a thing. My Wireless Carplay doesn't work either, so it is apparent that the car is not transmitting a WiFi signal. If it is not resolved by next week, my 6 week old 2025 Chevy Suburban Z71 is going back to the dealer and they can give me a loaner car. I am going to tell them to call me when the issue is fixed and I will come back and pick it up. Keep me updated on if or when they fix your issue.

Thanks for your reply. I dropped the truck off at the Chevy dealer this afternoon. Their service department is going to work with OnStar to fix the problem.
