MyGMC app not updating mileage, fuel etc
Update to the status update issue. Status is now updating when I drive the truck. It is no longer going back to what it was 10 days ago. After speaking with the rep who contacted me I've been informed that there has been a change to the app and you cannot get an update without starting the vehicle. In other words if you check the status of your tire pressure in the app 12 hours after you last drove the vehicle it will tell you what it was the then not what it is now. I thought in the past the app would give you a real time status update but maybe I didn't remember correctly. I will say Onstar has been responsive to my issues.
Having the same issue again. Green on star light but mileage and fuel level not updating on app. Says last connection was 3 days ago but phone has been connected several times in the last few days as I’ve driven.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to light, @Jelliott67. As an initial troubleshooting step, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling your app to ensure you have the most updated version. From there, perform a global refresh by pulling down from the top of the screen when in the Vehicle Status feature. If this doesn’t help to update your vehicle details, please send us a private message to OnStar_Support so we can look into this further with you. Just select the envelope icon at the top right of your screen to get started.
