MyGMC app not updating mileage, fuel etc
Update to the status update issue. Status is now updating when I drive the truck. It is no longer going back to what it was 10 days ago. After speaking with the rep who contacted me I've been informed that there has been a change to the app and you cannot get an update without starting the vehicle. In other words if you check the status of your tire pressure in the app 12 hours after you last drove the vehicle it will tell you what it was the then not what it is now. I thought in the past the app would give you a real time status update but maybe I didn't remember correctly. I will say Onstar has been responsive to my issues.
I hope they release a fix soon. I’ve had my 25 Silverado since May and haven’t had this issue until about 10-11 days ago. My wife’s 26 Traverse is doing the same thing since about 10-11 days ago as well. Never had the issue before with either so that’s why my gut was leaning toward an app issue.

Well so much for the app updating. It worked for about 10 days and quit again. I can use my commands but it will not update the status. Spoke with an advisor, did all the troubleshooting and it still doesn't update the vehicle status. The advisor was going to send the issue to a specialist. Advisors have been very nice but this is getting old. Never had this problem with my 2016 Canyon. Hope they can find a permanent fix.
