MyCadillac app won't open after it's been closed

Once I open the MyCadillac app and then close it, it will not open again unless I go into the "App Info" screen and "Force Stop" the app. The is on a Samsung phone. I know of at least one other person that is having this same issue. My car in an Escalade IQ and his is a Lyriq.
