My Chevrolet app not remote starting my vehicle

Thanks for reaching out about this. As an initial troubleshooting step, we ask that you please uninstall/reinstall the app from your device. If you continue having difficulties after this, please send us an email to socialmedia@gm.com with "ATTN: OS Community/Elee" in the subject line so we can further assist.
My 2500 Silverado started all by itself this morning in my garage.
I had tried to use for the first time the remote start feature from the Chevrolet App while at the gym early this morning. After pressing the start button the app said ‘sent’ for 30 minutes but never started and eventually changed to ‘failed’ and returned to the normal screen.
After I returned home (starting the truck on my own) and parked in the garage for 20- 30 minutes the truck started on its own with the garage door down.
Fortunately I heard it and was able to stop the truck and raise the garage door
This is very concerning that this app has this malfunction - that it still started the truck after stating the start command had failed. Please advise what GM is going to do to remedy this situation before harm comes to someone
