Radio and other audio sources cut out after about 1 second
Maybe it’s the latest software update on my ‘26 Lyriq V, but when I get in my car now the radio or any other audio source turns off after about 1 second. I think it has something to do with my iPhone overriding the system, but it happens even when I’m not running any apps on my phone. After an AI search on Gemini, it suggested turning off the audio with the physical button on the center console, and turning it back on. That works, but it’s still annoying. Anyone else having this issue?

Thank you! But as often happens, the moment I posted this issue here, it stopped occurring 🤣
If it happens again I’ll try your suggestion.

I had basically the same issue shortly after purchasing my lyriq v. I took it in for service. They said they would order a new module. Haven’t heard anything about it since. Now I’m having problems with the HUD. It comes and goes for days at a time.

Interesting... in addition to my radio problem described above that seems to have self-corrected, my HUD also disappeared right after a software update about two weeks ago, and then a few days later reappeared with what looks like an updated version that provides more information. My assessment was that it took a few days to install itself or maybe there was a follow-on update. But now it works fine. At the time I tried the infotainment reset process (press phone hang-up button for a few seconds) but that didn't correct it. Somehow everything seems to be working now.
