Facial Recognition not working on MyBuick IOS app
On a phone call this AM with Onstar technical support I was told Facial Recognition is possible to login to the MyBuick App on an iPhone. In my case I am using an iPhone 16 using the latest IOS, 18.3.1
After this call I spent 45 min on the phone with Apple Technical Support and we couldn't find a way to turn on Facial Recognition. Deleting and reinstalling the MyBuick app had no impact.
We were able to save my username and password in the Apple Passwords App to simplify logging into MyBuick app, however Facial Recognition was a no go.
Is Facial recognition logging into the MyBuick app a feature or not? If yes how?

Thank you for reaching out to us. MFA, or Multi-Factor Authentication, is an additional layer of security used to protect your account from unauthorized access. When you sign in, you'll be required to confirm your identity by entering a security code sent to your email, SMS, or through an Authenticator App, depending on your preference. Please know, this is the current login method that the mobile app allows. You may be prompted to authenticate through MFA every time you sign in to your account. However, there are options to reduce authentication frequency. In our mobile apps, once you have completed MFA, you will remain signed in for up to a year (365 days). If you have any additional questions regarding this process, please feel free to let us know.
