We know how upsetting it can be when important features are not working, @Blizzardtamer. Our team would be glad to connect and look into this for you. At this time, we recommend power cycling your vehicle using the instructions below. If that does not work or you had any questions, please send us a private message to OnStar_Support by selecting the envelope at the top right of the page. Please include your full name along with either your OnStar account number or VIN. By sending us a message, you consent to the information you provide being monitored and recorded by GM or those acting on GM’s behalf, subject to the GM Privacy Statement: https://www.gm.com/privacy-statement.
Power Cycle Steps:
1. Enter the vehicle and turn ignition on (Vehicle should run for at least 60 seconds)
2. Shut off vehicle
3. Remove Key from ignition or Press start/stop button
4. Exit vehicle - Key FOB must also exit vehicle
5. Close Driver's door - All other doors, hatch, liftgate should also be closed
6. Lock vehicle doors using Key FOB
7. Critical Step: Wait ~2 minutes (or until OnStar LED goes out. This allows time for the OnStar unit and other electrical systems to turn off)
8. Re-Enter the vehicle and turn ignition on
9. Retest your vehicle
