Promised EV Remote Access not available

I agree with andowranni.  I'm extremely unhappy that OnStar is telling me that I need a $14 / mo package to get an EV essential feature.  This feature came with the car and now I can't reactivate it or even pay a minimal amount for it without paying for a bunch of other features that are highly optional and undesirable in my case.  Without a charged battery, I don't have a functional car.  I can't think of anything that is more essential than that.  It should be free, and it definitely shouldn't cost $12-14 dollar a month.  For those that fully charge every night, this isn't an issue, but I'm charging using excess solar at home and need to know daily if that's a sufficient charge.  And I'm not the primary driver.  I won't buy GM any more if that's the best you can do.
