OnStar Module
Happy that I found this site but more frustrated than ever to know this is a problem with GM products. We as well have had the Cadillac Escalades since 2005, prior to that was the GM Yukon Denalis and Tahoes since 1996. Once I get this 2022 Escalade fixed I will never buy another GM product again. We have the extended warranty on this Escalade and it has been in the shop 3 x’s w various issues, the most recent the GPS module which affects wifi and navigation, etc. has been on back order for over a month. Is there a reason this module is not available? No one seems to care especially the dealer. They can say all the words they want to and say their hands are tied and they are trying to resolve but there is nothing. And now just last week we get a major recall on the connecting rod and/or crankshaft engine components being defective. Dealer has no recall on this but the letter is from Cadillac w/ VIN # and said there is a possibility of engine damage and engine failed put the vehicle at risk of a crash. Again no one seems to care. I would never recommend anyone get a GM product again especially the so-called coveted Escalades. And yes in the meantime we continue to pay for Onstar and the vehicle. And it is useless to try and trade. Who wants garbage.
