No Wifi, No Onstar, 2022 Silverado
I ended up taking the truck back to the dealership for transmission issues (around 65k mi) and the dealership offered to replace the onstar control module at a discounted price of just over $300, since I was spending almost a grand to fix the transmission issue. Onstar now works but none of the commands works through the app. I've been told by onstar that it's a dealer issue. Apparently the module was not programmed. The sunroof leaks in heavy rain. Of course it's out of warranty so I have to pay just to find out the problem. I have a 2012 f150 with over 200k miles. That truck gives me less problems than my '22 silverado. I guess I need to do my research before I buy another truck. I'm sure one of the "advisors" is gonna respond saying how they regret that I'm having these issues all the while never providing any real solutions.
