Onstar F / Telematic Module Out

So my Onstar f/telematic module has been out for over  a month on my 23’ Yukon and dealer says no ETA on replacements. This is NOT acceptable as controls, Onstar, super cruise, WiFi, rear screens, map updates, GM app, etc. This is a HUGE SAFETY ISSUE and as the safety aspect one of the major drivers of buying the vehicle this is simply not acceptable as also paying for Onstar. ONSTAR and GMC NEED TO GET THIS RESOLVED!

I love how they leave this generic response on everyone’s complaint instead of acknowledging it is a wide spread issue. They need to issue a recall but they will not cause they cannot fix it since they do not have the parts. Class action law suit is the only answer at this point

I'm not the social media type, but I just posted a complaint to GMC on Twitter - and pointed them to this forum 😁

In their defense, it's really all they have the ability to do.  But if you reach out as they describe they will make contact with you and provide updates.  Granted the updates are not of much use since there's really no update.  We'll see who contacts me first when the part becomes available.  One other person here has recently had a successful repair - so I guess there's hope.  I'm just glad we have a place to gripe so we know we're not all alone.

parts are discontinued for my 22 Yukon XL - part 85560244.  Literally a joke and makes all the features worthless from here on out.

Cannot hurt. We have been getting strung along by our Chevrolet dealer for a month now on a car with less than 10000 miles on it. I am going to struggle buying any GM car again after this. It’s a shame as the SUV drives and rides well but the tech components are an expectation these days and to have none going on 3 months…..
