Where can I use Super Cruise?
Super Cruise™ 1 can be engaged only on compatible roads where lanes are separated from opposing traffic — think a limited-access divided highway, not a suburban street. There are currently more than 200,000 miles of Super Cruise–enabled roads in the U.S. and Canada. These roads have been LiDAR-mapped to provide Super Cruise with the high-precision location data needed for hands-free driving. Explore the map of Super Cruise–enabled roads to find ones on the way to your next destination! 1 Always pay attention while driving and when using Super Cruise. Do not use a hand-held device. Can lane centering be adjusted or refined to provide more of a buffer from other traffic? Most people naturally drive more to the edges of outer lanes, whereas SuperCruise always puts you in the middle. It would be ideal if that feature could be refined for a safer and more natural driving experience. Does anyone else share this concern?Solved13KViews1like1CommentService Driver Assist system
Hello! I wouldn’t be here if the vehicle I bought worked as it was supposed! 2024 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and can’t use none of the super cruise options due to parts on back order…. Checking to see if GMC wants to buy their lemon back before I proceed with a lawsuit.6KViews0likes3CommentsSuper Cruise disengaged and I don’t know why. How can I learn more?
If Super Cruise™ 1 disengages while you’re using it, simply push the Super Cruise button within 10 seconds of disengagement for more information. A message will appear in the driver information center with an explanation, such as, “No Road Information,” “Driving in Exit Lane” or “Looking Away from Road for Too Long.” You can find descriptions of these messages in your vehicle owner manual. 1 Always pay attention while driving and when using Super Cruise. I have a 2023 Yukon Denali with Super Cruise and hasn't worked from day one and drive every day on mapped roads around Michigan. Screen Icon never comes on as available and when I push the super cruise button just says unavailable. no other messages like in owners manual come up ever (road not compatible, Cameras not working, etc..) so far its been a very expensive useless option on my new Denali. Any recommendations?5KViews0likes3CommentsWhat is Automatic Lane Change?
When using Super Cruise,™ 1 Automatic Lane Change can steer the vehicle to perform a single lane change. For example, if enabled, the system can pass a slower vehicle in its lane, change lanes if the current lane is ending or change lanes to provide space for vehicles merging from an ending lane. A message appears on the driver information center to offer more information on the status of the maneuver. 1 Always pay attention while driving and when using Super Cruise. Super Cruise™ 1 is the future of driving, making driving on compatible roads more convenient. The cutting-edge system is the first true hands-free driver assistance technology. It uses cameras, sensors, GPS data and LiDAR map data, and steers to maintain the vehicle’s position in a lane. It works on top of Adaptive Cruise Control, 2 which can accelerate and brake to maintain a driver-selected following gap time from the vehicle ahead. On select vehicles, Super Cruise can also make lane changes: In vehicles equipped with Lane Change on Demand, the vehicle executives the lane change once the driver activates the turn signal, while in vehicles with Automatic Lane Change, Super Cruise can execute lane changes automatically. 1 Always pay attention while driving and when using Super Cruise. Do not use a hand-held device. Visit https://www.chevrolet.com/electric/super-cruise for compatible roads and full details. 2 Safety or driver assistance features are no substitute for a driver’s responsibility to operate a vehicle in a safe manner. A driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Visibility, weather and road conditions may affect feature performance. Read your vehicle’s Owner's Manual for important feature limitations and information.3.7KViews0likes0Comments
