Error message in DIC shows "Service Driver Assist System"
Purchased a New 2024 CT4. Super Cruise & Lane Keep do not work. Called OnStar and they confirmed my account active and the highways were Super Cruise compatible. Set adaptive cruise and then Super cruise button but no white steering wheel icon appears. The DIC shows "Service Driver Assist System" at start-up.

I have a 2026 Sierra 1500 Denali and have the same issues. I noticed my Onstar "On" button had a red light instead of green. After much research, I discovered I could reboot the system by holding that "On" button for 15 seconds. During the reboot process, the light will flash green for about 10 seconds then turn solid green and everything works plus no "Service Driver Assist" light. BTW, I also notice my radio does not work when the light is red, so I believe it is an antenna issue. This fix (at least for me) is only temporary, and the light comes back to red after the vehicle has been turned off for a while (overnight, etc.). I am going through additional trouble shooting with Onstar now, but everything suggested has already been tried so waiting on their next reply.

I recently purchased a 2026 Sierra Denali specifically to get Supercruise. I have the same issue unfortunately. Had the truck in the shop three times in a month. I am surprised this has been around for over a year and still no fix - not even a technical bulletin at this point. I guess it just isn't a big enough problem for GM but to the owners who put their trust in GM, it is a very big problem.

Get OnStar involved and be relentless. I had to advocate for myself. They will not take any action to resolve the issue unless you force the dealer to interact and keep pursuing a solution.
