I work away from my truck for 3 or 4 weeks sometimes. Everytime I go to start it with the app it never works
I'm guessing if you don't start it weekly it goes into a deep sleep and you have to use the key to refresh it?
Pretty useless app if that the case, that's the only reason I got it was to warmup my truck after not running for a few weeks in minus 30 weather

That's correct! If your vehicle is not started for about 6 days, the hardware will go into a Sleep mode to conserve energy and will require a manual power cycle to wake back up. In addition, after every 3 Remote Starts through the app, a manual start is required. If you have any other questions on this, please send us a private message to OnStar_Support so we can look into this further. Just select the envelope icon at the top right of your screen to get started.
