VIN saying my vehicle is older than 2005..it's a 2015

Just got a traverse and when putting the VIN into onstar it says my vehicle is older than 2005. I went and looked it  up to see why and seen that onstar needs to do some updating and something about the batch numbers but who knows if they will. So if anyone has this issue just know it's onstar needs to do something.
