Mobile climate control
I have a 2025 GMC Sierra Denali and when o bought last year the mobile climate control worked until it disappeared. I’ve been on many frustrating phone calls, text thread, email you name it and I was given the unsatisfactory excuse that my Denali is not equipped for the service! I’ve been directed towards the dealer in which the dealer and GMC insists that the issue is with OnStar. It’s 11 months and I’m still paying for OnStar!!!!! This issue is disgusting and misleading.Larry7312 hours agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor II8Views0likes1CommentOn Star display redundantly takes over my Driver Information Center (DIC).
We dont know what makes the Onstar Turn By Turn display that usually in on the larger Entertainment Center display to then also be displayed on my DIC display. The info I have setup to be displayed in the DIC is very important. Nothing we have tried permits us to close the Onstar data...only thing that works is for the vehicle to be shut off for a few minuets The Orstar data is still active on the larger Entertainment Center display so that is OK..but I cant have my DIC display displaying only On Star data redundantly8Views0likes0CommentsAlexa is gone from infotainment system and google store.
As many people have said in discussions for years now, No Alexa app, No customer. When I trade my 2025 Suburban in for a new vehicle, it will not be a Chevrolet. My entire house and business are connected through Alexa. Get with the program! Add features, don’t take things away that justify the purchase of a $89,000 vehicle. Your customer will leave you.ToddVKrueger1 day agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor10Views0likes1CommentMyGMC app
So, now that my module has been replaced and is functioning. Where are the air condition controls on the app? What’s the point of having remote start on the app then?! Also, I’d love my truck/infotainment to be updated since 2023. That’s the only pushed update.. Come on now…SolvedThomase20252 days agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor47Views0likes2CommentsVehicle Status Issue
In the OnStar app, my vehicle will not show the status anymore. Says it was last connected 4 months ago, but my subscription is active, the OnStar light is green in the car, and I can still pull up the vehicle location on the map. I've tried logging out and logging back in multiple times, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I even did a call with support, and they said they couldn't see any issues on their end. Does anyone have a fix for this? My vehicle is a 2025 Chevy Tahoe RST. Thanks so much!!thecryptohead7 days agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor52Views0likes3CommentsMonths without OnStar Telematics
I bought a new 2026 Chevy Traverse less than a year ago. During my first year of ownership, the vehicle has spent 42 days in the shop after the ESC light tripped for the brake system. A few months later, now I'm now dealing with a failed Telematics module with no ETA for replacement parts. It's been 30 days since my dealership put in the order. My vehicle included a tech package with internet and OnStar service, neither of which work anymore. Remote start? Gone. Locate the vehicle via App? Gone. God help us if we're actually in an accident and need OnStar help. Can't connect. I'm losing value by the day with no end in sight. I cannot understand WHY replacement parts are not available for a new model. It's such a poor reflection on the GM brand.85Views0likes1CommentInstalled used telematics control module on my refreshed 2022 silverado
Dealership stated TCM was back ordered with no date available (6 months ago). Another dealership gave me a list of part numbers that were replacing my original TCM part #. Found one from 2024 silverado on Ebay. I installed it and took to dealer to program with my truck. Ck engine light went out and I could see where I was on the downloaded map. I called onstar to activate wifi and I'm told I can't activate service because the VIN on the TCM and my truck don't match. You figure it would be easy to do a switch, but that would make sense. I figure it's like buying a used phone and finding out it's locked by the service provider. This would resolve back order issues and get them some revenue coming in. Waiting on a call back from onstar to see what they say.80Views0likes2CommentsNo Onstar Connectivity
I lost connectivity after doing a system update last week. Pushing Blue Onstar button leads to a "Could not connect to advisor" message.rbredwings12 days agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor89Views0likes1Comment
