MyChevrolet App not updating

Hello, I have a 2019 Trax and after my last oil change etc the mobile app is not working. I have tried uninstalling the app and re installing and does not change. What else can I do

In order to best troubleshoot these difficulties further, please send us an email at socialmedia@gm.com and be sure to put "ATTN: OS Community/gismust" in the subject line. Our team looks forward to getting your app up and running again together. 

  • We appreciate this follow up and are happy to know your MyChevrolet App is working properly once again. Should you ever need assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to let us know. 

  • Thank you for your comment. If you have recently updated the mobile app, we do recommend completing a Power Cycle to ensure your vehicle insights are accurate. Please see the below steps: 

    1. Turn ignition on for at least 2 minutes
    2. Turn ignition off and wait 2-5 minutes (so data can be collected)
    3. Log out of the myChevrolet app and log back in - this may help the app refresh
    4. If the concern is still not resolved, please wait 2-3 minutes and refresh the app again, as the status can take a few minutes to update
    5. Drive the vehicle around for a few minutes to allow data to refresh on the app

     

    If you are still experiencing trouble after completing these steps, kindly let us know.

  • Our MyChevy app has also stopped working for the past few days, during the same time as the Wi-Fi hotspot stopped working.  24 Chevy Equinox EV.
