My Chevrolet app not remote starting my vehicle

I open the app and hold down the start button and all is says is sending. I closed the app several time and even logged off, but when i reopen it, its still "sending." What do i need to do. I paid too much for this feature for it not to work

Also with this app stuck on "sending" i don't know if the lock or unlock buttons work. 😡

Just in case, I bought my Chev Tahoe a month ago and called Support etc to fix my Chevrolet app on my iPhone. It wasn't updating the mileage, distance to empty. Nothing was working eg offloading app data, deleting the app and reinstalling. Then I realized that I hadn't accepted the terms and conditions on the main screen of the vehicle itself. Go to MyChevrolet on the main screen and you will see that you have to agree to the terms and conditions. After I did this, my app now refreshes perfectly. No one at OnStar or Chevrolet told me to do this but it was a very simple fix. I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere but this might be a common problem for people who have just purchased a new vehicle.

Try this....I realized that I hadn't accepted the terms and conditions on the main screen of the vehicle itself. Go to MyChevrolet on the main screen and you will see that you have to agree to the terms and conditions. After I did this, my app now refreshes perfectly.

    1. MyChevrolet App is unable to connect to the server and isn't able to update vehicle status.  The Onstar Driver part works and records my trips, but I can't use the remote start or check my vehicle status.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and restarted my phone and today, a tech from OnStar called and said I need to have my vehicle unit looked at.  I don't think my vehicle unit is the problem.

My 2500 Silverado started all by itself this morning in my garage.

I had tried to use for the first time the remote start feature from the Chevrolet App while at the gym early this morning. After pressing the start button the app said ‘sent’ for 30 minutes but never started and eventually changed to ‘failed’ and returned to the normal screen.

After I returned home (starting the truck on my own) and parked in the garage for 20- 30 minutes the truck started on its own with the garage door down.

Fortunately I heard it and was able to stop the truck and raise the garage door

This is very concerning that this app has this malfunction - that it still started the truck after stating the start command had failed.  Please advise what GM is going to do to remedy this situation before harm comes to someone
