Wifi "connected without Internet" No data plan wanted. I just want to connect to Android Auto.
I have a 2026 GMC 2500 AT4. After the trial ended for data the truck started having problems connecting to Android Auto. I have no need for a data plan so therefore I didn't sign up for any OnStar services. When I crank the truck the My GMC wifi connects but it says connected without Internet and nothing works on .my phone. It's like the wifi with no internet overrides my cellular data. The only solution is to pull over, put it in park, and hold microphone button down for 20 seconds to do a soft reset of the infotainment system. It will usually connect correctly for the rest of the day. Then the next day it does the same thing over again. It is beyond frustrating to start your vehicle and have to reset the infotainment system every single day. I have taken to service department 3 times already. They have removed negative battery cable 3 different times now. I have re added my phone wifi and Bluetooth connection several times. I got a new android phone and it still does the same thing. I have also made sure the Sharing Vehicle to Phone data is toggled off. No one seems to have a solution other than sign up for the data plan to make it work. But it clearly says in the manual that a data plan is not required. Is it the OnStar Module that is the issue?29Views0likes1CommentVehicle account not syncing to new vehicle
Hi all I had a 2025 Chevrolet suburban. I just upgraded to a 2026 Escalade. My understanding was the vehicle account stored certain settings in the cloud. when I log in to the infotainment on my Escalade none of my settings migrated over. What am I doing wrong? Using the correct account credentials. From what I’ve read online it’s supposed to move over radio presets etc.44Views0likes1Comment- 22Views0likes1Comment
2016 Chevy Suburban LT Heated Seats failed. Need help!
Hello team! I got a 2016 Chevy Suburban LT I bought Late 2024 and I absolutely love it. My Family and kits love it as well but this past winter the heated seats shorted out. When it was super cold I put them on and they immediately turned off. Later on after it warmed up a little the rear seat pads work but the bottoms no longer work. Can I have help fixing this? I think it is the harness that is bad? Help?41Views0likes1CommentMobile climate control
I have a 2025 GMC Sierra Denali and when o bought last year the mobile climate control worked until it disappeared. I’ve been on many frustrating phone calls, text thread, email you name it and I was given the unsatisfactory excuse that my Denali is not equipped for the service! I’ve been directed towards the dealer in which the dealer and GMC insists that the issue is with OnStar. It’s 11 months and I’m still paying for OnStar!!!!! This issue is disgusting and misleading.Larry736 days agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor III36Views0likes1CommentOn Star display redundantly takes over my Driver Information Center (DIC).
We dont know what makes the Onstar Turn By Turn display that usually in on the larger Entertainment Center display to then also be displayed on my DIC display. The info I have setup to be displayed in the DIC is very important. Nothing we have tried permits us to close the Onstar data...only thing that works is for the vehicle to be shut off for a few minuets The Orstar data is still active on the larger Entertainment Center display so that is OK..but I cant have my DIC display displaying only On Star data redundantly25Views0likes1CommentAlexa is gone from infotainment system and google store.
As many people have said in discussions for years now, No Alexa app, No customer. When I trade my 2025 Suburban in for a new vehicle, it will not be a Chevrolet. My entire house and business are connected through Alexa. Get with the program! Add features, don’t take things away that justify the purchase of a $89,000 vehicle. Your customer will leave you.ToddVKrueger7 days agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor59Views1like3CommentsMyGMC app
So, now that my module has been replaced and is functioning. Where are the air condition controls on the app? What’s the point of having remote start on the app then?! Also, I’d love my truck/infotainment to be updated since 2023. That’s the only pushed update.. Come on now…SolvedThomase20258 days agoPlace Technical and Service SupportTechnical and Service SupportNew Contributor80Views0likes2Comments
