Radio and other audio sources cut out after about 1 second
Maybe it’s the latest software update on my ‘26 Lyriq V, but when I get in my car now the radio or any other audio source turns off after about 1 second. I think it has something to do with my iPhone overriding the system, but it happens even when I’m not running any apps on my phone. After an AI search on Gemini, it suggested turning off the audio with the physical button on the center console, and turning it back on. That works, but it’s still annoying. Anyone else having this issue?APPS not working suddenly
My 2018 Buick Enclave has been working just fine until I lost my Apps (specifically Pandora) last week. I pay for Wi-Fi Hotspot and extra data services. Now system shows download Icons and wants a sign in, which I never had before. My first contact with OnStar tech tried to tell me that my hardware was old and now they've identified a problem. First, this needs a FIX - why am I paying for extra services that are not working??? Anyone else in this situation?GM & OnStar Cannot Agree on Services Included
We have a 25 Silverado EV LT. We are having an issue where all our Music streaming apps like Amazon Music and Spotify all tells us we need to purchase an upgraded plan. Very clearly on the OnStar site it says the following: Take a look at what’s included Your vehicle has more than ever before. Feel more connected on and off the road with our core features. Automatic Crash Response* Remote Commands* Google Maps and Google Assistant* Maps+* Audio Streaming Apps OnStars included services should OnStar Basics with Audio streaming apps included. In the description it explains streaming through your audio apps is included. Talking to GM and OnStar I keep getting told different answers. OnStar wants to sell you a very expensive OnStar One app to get audio streaming to work. Others from GM tell me audio streaming is absolutely included and it is an issue with what has been activated. Here on my current vehicle it show VERY CLEARLY audio is included. If you click Details it further reinforces the idea the Music is included. Stream your favorite songs and playlists with your music apps from your center display, bringing you a variety of entertainment options on every drive. Please help fix this as this is VERY misleading to tell customer Music is included and then not provide it and give excuses like you need to buy a very expensive plan to get what is already included!2025 Chevy Equinox Active 5546 miles OnStar issues/Update issues
We just got our Chevy Equinox 2025 back in May and this morning we couldn't even open the doors. On Saturday I was on the phone with OnStar to troubleshoot why myChevy app and OnStar wasn't working and they told me to bring it to the dealership. This morning when we tried to get in the car, it wouldn't allow us and nothing was working. Battery is fine. The OnStar is preventing us from even getting in the car now. I called the dealership and they basically blew me off and said well there's no recalls but you can have it towed to us on your expense and we can run tests, also at your expense. Really Chevy? Really OnStar? I've gone on many message boards now this morning and learned that this is a huge issue since the last update and the OnStar module isn't working and it's also on back order. If that's the case, Chevy or OnStar need to give loaners until it's fixed or the Attorney General will be notified of this issue. Question is. Hi everyone, I’m posting to see if anyone else has been dealing with the same issue. I have a 2025 Buick Enclave that I purchased brand new about nine months ago. From the start, I’ve had recurring problems with the OnStar system and a total loss of power. The vehicle has repeatedly gone dead or failed to start. The dealer told me it’s related to a defective OnStar (telematics) module that’s been draining the battery and preventing the system from going into sleep mode. My Enclave has now spent over 30 days in the shop, and we’ve had a case open with GM for weeks — but there still isn’t a confirmed fix or part available. We have been enduring these issues while our brand new Enclave sits in the shop, and we have not received answers (from Buick or the dealer) for how it will be resolved. I wanted to share this in case other owners are experiencing similar problems or have received any updates or resolutions from GM. If anyone from Buick or GMC sees this, please reach out — I’d really like to get this resolved.Calendar integration with Google Maps in Escalade IQ
Hello, On most map applications, you are able to see your upcoming destinations based on your calendar. I am not seeing this option in Google Maps on Escalade IQ. I Have ensured that my google cal is updated with correct address information for all my upcoming events. Is this not supported in the Escalade IQ? I checked in settings - apps - permissions manager and I see calendar. When I click into it, the only option is Waze. Google Maps is not listed. That said, I don’t see a Calendar app within the apps listing. How can I have my future appointment/event locations show up in Google Maps?Charge status not updating in my Cadillac app for Escalade IQ
hello, recently my car sat for 2 weeks while I traveled. When I returned to my car, my navigation was offline. This resolved itself after a few hours but my car was not connecting to my app. Initially I was able to get my car to set climate remotely but the app would error saying that it was unable to communicate with the car. That resolved after a few days. The only persistent issue is that my charging level will no longer update. The car is currently charged to 80% but the app says 52% which is what the leve was the day I got back from vacation and drove it. By the end of the day it was at 52%. I have reinstalled the app, I have power cycled the phone and the car. I have driven multiple times after. I have connected it to WiFi…. Nothing addresses the problem. I have also had it check for software updates and it comes back with no updates. last update installed GM 653.40, android version 12, Android patch level December 5 2024 how can I fix this?2025 Buick Enclave - Connect to External HotSpot, will Onstar work?
I am extremely mad that my brand new car, which I specifically bought for our long drive across country no longer has functioning OnStar. I bought this car because of all the safety features for the long drive because my son is autistic, and I want him to be able to just push the SOS button and ask for help and not have to know where he is. Onstar could just find him. But now I have apparently been caught in the issue that is happening with the telemetry/onstar module failing and there is no replacements that are available. Again, I am beyond mad. It's been in the shop a week, and there is nothing they can do. At this point I am trying to look for a work around. If I get a external mobile hotspot and hook the car to it, will the On Star work via that hotspot, so if my son needs help he can get it.Onstar in my brand new 2025 Chevrolet Traverse LT is not working even though the light is green.
My OnStar stopped working 6 days ago! I called OnStar support since this is the 3rd time this happens! The first time they were able to trouble shoot the second time it fixed itself. Now this is the 3rd time and the OnStar button is green. I called and they told me the signal was not being received by my vehicle. They tried for over an hour. Even had me go into settings which didn’t work. Now they say I have to go to the dealership to see if they can figure it out! They said my unit might need to be replaced but how!! It’s a brand new vehicle got it with 3 miles on it!
