MyGMC app not updating vehicle status since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal a week ago.
I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 and my vehicle status has not changed since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal in my truck 7 days ago. I don't know if there are any similarities but the vehicle stopped updating after the refresh. I have already done the power cycle of the truck (run for 2 minutes...off for at least 2 min...sign out of the MyGMC app and back in...have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times). I also have another vehicle in the app and it is updating just fine. The link seems to be the truck but not sure.6likes69CommentsClimate control from app
I have a 2025 GMC 1500 Sierra Denial Ultimate and I not sure why I can not control climate controls from my app, I have installed the app updated the app signed back in and still no climate controls on the phone , I have read on here that it was taking off when Google was put in the software but I also read on here that GM fixed that and now it works but I cannot see it on my app so not sure what Im not doing right or what's happening and suggestions? My vehicle status, i.e. tire pressure, fuel level, miles, trip info, etc., has not updated in over 3 weeks. I've deleted/reinstalled the app, had a new signal sent, all of the things I've been recommended to try. None of these have worked. For the past week now mobile app on my phone and my husbands phone are not working. Locations full accessibility etc. Now it worked fine last week My husband is at work and its showing him in the drive way. Come on what are we paying for seriously. This feature worked for a very short time after I bought my GMC Sierra Denali and now only sporadically updates me on the vehicles location. My last truck was stolen at work and this feature is one of the deciding factors for my purchase. I've already gone through the usual uninstalling and re-installing the app and pairing the phone, etc. I added my wife as an additional contact to update the vehicles position, and low and behold, it updates her every time, just not me. Hi MyGMC app will not update vehicle status. I've tried uninstalling, log out/back in, granted all app permissions, clear cache, restart phone, turn ignition on for at least 2 minutes then turn ignition off and wait 2-5 minutes. Still nothing. What is the logic behind update vehicle status, how is that supposed to work? I have Onstar subscription and vehicle is connected to my account. I have a 2019 Corvette and like many on this forum I can no longer get the app to show my vehicles current status for mileage, fuel level, oil life percentage. However the map location and remote commands work normally. I have tried deleting the app and reinstall to no avail as well as the refresh procedure. Still shows my vehicle was last connected 9 months ago.0likes3CommentsI am unable to link my OnStar account to MyChevy account.
We got a 26 Trailblazer yesterday and activated our OnStar account. We have 8 years free of the MyChevy app features (remote start, location, mileage, etc) and a 2 month trial of OnStar. When I open MyChevy app, it is still prompting me to push the OnStar button to activate. It shows in the vehicle status that there is no OnStar account linked. When I go to link my existing account to MyChevy, the page is blank. I've tried through the app, mobile browser, and home computer and have the same issue. I called OnStar and they couldn't help. She said she escalated it, but provided no time frame on when I'd hear back. Despite all this the wifi works, but we have no access to the features of the MyChevy app. Hoping for some guidance since phone representatives have not provided any resolution.0likes1Comment
