MyGMC app not updating vehicle status since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal a week ago.
I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 and my vehicle status has not changed since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal in my truck 7 days ago. I don't know if there are any similarities but the vehicle stopped updating after the refresh. I have already done the power cycle of the truck (run for 2 minutes...off for at least 2 min...sign out of the MyGMC app and back in...have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times). I also have another vehicle in the app and it is updating just fine. The link seems to be the truck but not sure.3likes34CommentsCan't add family member
We've tried several invites with no luck. My wife receives the invite email, but only gets as far as the "we don't see a product attached to this account. This is more than a little frustrating. I've seen many others with the same problem, but never saw a posted solution.0likes3CommentsClimate control removed from app?!
When i purchased my truck a few weeks ago (2025 Silverado 1500 RST) I was able to set my climate temperature remotely from the app but it disappeared within the last week and there seems to be no resolution? I have followed the troubleshooting steps of uninstalling and reinstalling the app logging out, logging back in resetting the infotainment head unit. Everything else seems to be working as it should except that feature now instead of showing the option to set temperature. It just shows me a timer until my truck shuts off after remote starting.1like15CommentsCorvette C8 2020 can't clear Air Filter notification in the App.
My 2020 C8 Corvette do not have the air filter life monitor in the DIC. The earlier models did not come with that feature. I am getting the 0% warning in the MyChevrolet app which can not be reset manually from the car because the function is not there. The chevy dealership could not location a method to reset it in the car. They tried resetting the car's computer with no luck. How do I reset this persistent message in the app?0likes0CommentsApp myChevrolet does not work outside of the USA, Canada
Having a problem with myChevrolet app. Bought a Blazer ev really like it. Someone decided that the app can only work with Usa, Canada location. Ok. What is the purpose of this restriction? Right now my car is in another country. Now I can't control the car's charging power. I can't see how many kilometers my car has driven. I put the car on charge and I don't know what level of its charge remotely. My multimedia doesn't synchronize with my smartphone. How do I find the executives responsible for this app? It's a matter of decision making.0likes0CommentsCan volt Gen 1 & 2 Battery information be restored?
Both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Volts had information about their batteries removed from the myChevrolet app. The only information currently displayed is the battery range, and that is rarely accurate but reflective of a reading well in the past. There appears to be no way to force it to update, rendering it unusable. It was good to know when the battery was charging and when it would be fully charged. I worked for several software companies and they made efforts to keep backward compatibility understanding customers were noticing that it was reflective of general corporate commitment to their customers. Dropping coverage was a signal that commitment has an expiration date, an absolute factor in future product purchase decisions. This issue developed earlier today on my 2022 Tahoe. My initial one month trial subscription ended on 6/19/25. I signed up for the additional two months free of the premium tier plan. Today I was driving, first drive since the 19th, and the OnStar light turned red with no connectivity. After doing some checking it turns out my additional months plans did not start. MyChevrolet Android app has stopped updating, last update was right before my OnStar light turned red. The light is now green and OnStar supports says everything is showing correctly on their end. The app, however is not working, I don't get updated vehicle status but I can control the vehicle and the map location refreshes. If I check wifi settings in the app it tells me to subscribe to a plan. I have done all the troubleshooting steps regarding the app; force stop, clear cache, update permissions, uninstall/reinstall, log out/log back in, toggled off/back on location settings in the vehicle settings. The only thing I have not done is reset the infotainment 3 system. Additionally, when I log into the actual website from a browser I get instances of my vehicle not being there or my OnStar plans not showing up. I have tried to get a vehicle diagnostic from the webpage and it tells me to subscribe. This is incredibly frustrating as it was working perfectly before the plan mishap. Additionally I am sensitive to the issue because when I purchased the car, used, the OnStar module was bad which ultimately caused all kinds of warning lights due to the module being out and I had to have the vehicle towed back to the dealership. If I am slated to pay for a top tier subscription and the OnStar is so integrated with the vehicle, it would be nice if it worked.0likes1Comment
