Has anybody actually had their OnStar app work right after they’ve contacted OnStar about the issues with the app. I’ve owned a truck for over a year and it hasn’t worked right since day one. I’ve contacted OnStar no less than six times and every time they run a diagnostic, it’ll work for two days or less and then you just get tired of it,as of right now my app has been down for 25 days again and I’m just kind of giving up on it. It is a good app when it works. It just doesn’t never work.I am unable to link my OnStar account to MyChevy account.
We got a 26 Trailblazer yesterday and activated our OnStar account. We have 8 years free of the MyChevy app features (remote start, location, mileage, etc) and a 2 month trial of OnStar. When I open MyChevy app, it is still prompting me to push the OnStar button to activate. It shows in the vehicle status that there is no OnStar account linked. When I go to link my existing account to MyChevy, the page is blank. I've tried through the app, mobile browser, and home computer and have the same issue. I called OnStar and they couldn't help. She said she escalated it, but provided no time frame on when I'd hear back. Despite all this the wifi works, but we have no access to the features of the MyChevy app. Hoping for some guidance since phone representatives have not provided any resolution.App controls keep failing
A bit frusterated as a bought a 2022 Yukon Denali with 36000 miles less than three weeks ago. I have had nothing but problems and countless phone calls with onstar. Have tried endless amount of troubleshooting and finally referred to dealership. None of the control functions (remote start, lock, unlock, etc) will work on my app. They will continue to spin and then fail. Very disappointed as the vehicle is not old and low miles, as well as I just got the vehicle. The vehicle stats (gas, oil life, etc) will not update either. My vehicle status, i.e. tire pressure, fuel level, miles, trip info, etc., has not updated in over 3 weeks. I've deleted/reinstalled the app, had a new signal sent, all of the things I've been recommended to try. None of these have worked. Please help!Vehicle settings in MyChevy app
Hello. I have a 2025 Colorado Trail Boss. I have remote start etc. can I adjust the settings for the vehicle when I perform a remote start? I see it turns the temp up to 90 (max) sometimes. I can adjust the temp after it starts. But no other controls. Everything I see says that I can adjust “vehicle settings” in th3 app. But the only vehicle setting showing in my app is WI-FI. How can I get other settings to show in the app. I have seen videos etc that show many other options available. My app screen: I see these settings available in other app images: How can I add to my app so I can control these settings. I believe I have the correct Onstar subscription.MyGMC app not updating vehicle status since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal a week ago.
I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 and my vehicle status has not changed since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal in my truck 7 days ago. I don't know if there are any similarities but the vehicle stopped updating after the refresh. I have already done the power cycle of the truck (run for 2 minutes...off for at least 2 min...sign out of the MyGMC app and back in...have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times). I also have another vehicle in the app and it is updating just fine. The link seems to be the truck but not sure.Remote climate control still missing
I have a 2025 Sierra Elevation. When I got it in April, remote temperature control was available in the app. Now it's gone. I have had a ticket 68838346 open with support since 6/17. After gathering information via email, I was told a support engineer would be in touch via phone. I have heard crickets since. I have followed up via email several times with no response. My WiFi used to work then about 6 months ago it quit. I’ve tried the reset instructions to no avail and as I have the premium plan I’m basically paying for WiFi connectivity that’s non existent. I connect to my cars hotspot, it says weak security then bam 2 mins later no internet connection. I’ve done the door open, shut off, wait 5 mins and then start car and nada. Customer service rep has resent the WiFi signal but still nada. :( After reading through the community it looks like a consistent issue whereas basically ATT is getting $ for non existent service and to remove it but keep my current coverage is going to cost me more than what I’m paying now. MyGMC app will not update vehicle status. I've tried uninstalling, log out/back in, granted all app permissions, clear cache, restart phone, Still nothing. Seems to happen about 2 months ago with the update at that time. Since then nothing seems to reconnect the vehicle. All other controls work. How do I reconnect this vehicle status part of the app?Climate control removed from app?!
When i purchased my truck a few weeks ago (2025 Silverado 1500 RST) I was able to set my climate temperature remotely from the app but it disappeared within the last week and there seems to be no resolution? I have followed the troubleshooting steps of uninstalling and reinstalling the app logging out, logging back in resetting the infotainment head unit. Everything else seems to be working as it should except that feature now instead of showing the option to set temperature. It just shows me a timer until my truck shuts off after remote starting.
